After all the controversy over the WEC moving to pay-per-view, they officially released the promotional poster for WEC 48: Aldo vs. Faber. The fight card so far is loaded with some explosive match-ups, and more are sure to be added. If you look closely at the poster, you will see something very new and different in their marketing.
Instead of doing all their marketing campaigns uinder their own banner, the WEC is using their big brother UFC to promote the event. Given that we all now have to pay for these fights, it’s a much needed move on their part. Use the bigger, more influential name to get the blockbuster card to the masses.

Mike Thomas Brown vs. Manny Gamburyan
Benson Henderson vs. Donald Cerrone (Lightweight Championship)
Jose Aldo vs. Urijah Faber (Featherweight Championship)
